In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Taste of Melbourne festival is expanding, becoming bigger and even better as it celebrates not only Melbourne's famous food culture, but also our highly esteemed fashion designers and artists.
The exclusive festive a la carte menu is highlighted with contemporary fare such as Duck Rillettes with Beurre Noisette Crumb, Baby Beetroots, Carrots and Fresh Peas on the entre menu, to more traditional dishes, such as Roast Turkey and Stuffing, and Crispy Potatoes.
Held at the historic Abbotsford Convent Gardens, this three-day extravaganza will feature the state's finest craft beer, complemented with modern style street food and an awesome line-up of much-loved bands and artists.
You get to try all kinds of Scandinavian foods such as rye crispbead (knackerbrod), cod roe spread (tarama), open sandwiches, Swedish cakes and pancakes, Danish hot dogs with crunchy fried onions and sweet mustard and cinnamon rolls.
Shoppers can connect directly with the designers and makers featuring at the market, take part in creative workshops, keep their children entertained with free activities, and enjoy excellent food and drink, all in an iconic setting.
